Makeup should still feel like you.
I’ve been working as a makeup artist since 2008, and over the years my work has taken me across bridal, beauty, special occasion, editorial, photography, production and creative projects.
I’m interested in makeup that enhances rather than disguises, but I also believe there should be room to experiment. Sometimes you want to refine what you already know works for you; sometimes you want to try something completely different.
My approach is considered but never rigid – paying attention to skin, features, colouring, styling and the overall feeling we’re creating, while keeping the person in the chair at the centre of it.
Whether I’m creating a bridal look, working on an editorial concept or helping someone understand their own makeup, I bring the same experience, attention to detail and curiosity to the process.

Makeup that feels like you – just a little more considered.
With over 15 years of experience as a makeup artist, I create makeup for wedding days, special occasions, portrait sessions and those moments when you simply want to have your makeup done beautifully.
My approach is to enhance rather than disguise, paying attention to your features, your skin, your personal style and what you feel comfortable wearing. The aim isn’t to turn you into someone else, but to bring out the version of you that feels confident, beautiful and completely at home in your own face.
For bridal makeup, that means creating something that works with you, your dress, your setting and the feeling of the day – something beautiful in person, considered in photographs and comfortable enough to wear through all the moments in between.
For beauty and special occasions, there is a little more freedom to explore. We can keep things soft and understated, add a little more definition, play with colour or create something that feels completely different from your everyday look.

Editorial & Creative Direction
This is where we get to play.
With a background in makeup artistry, photography, styling and creative direction, I’ve spent many years working not just with faces, but with the bigger picture around them.
Editorial and creative projects allow me to explore that space – working with photographers, stylists, designers, models and creative teams to develop makeup and hair looks that support an idea, a mood or a story.
Sometimes the makeup is barely there. Sometimes it becomes the focal point. I enjoy both, and I like finding the point where makeup, styling, photography and the person in front of the camera start to work together.
Whether the concept is already fully formed or still taking shape, I bring experience, an eye for detail and a willingness to experiment.

Lessons & Makeup Sessions
Makeup is meant to be played with.
After more than 15 years of working with different faces, products, techniques and makeup styles, I’ve also spent time teaching and lecturing makeup artistry – most recently at SOMA Durban in 2022.
These sessions are about helping you understand your makeup — what works for you, what doesn’t, and how to get more from the products you already own.
Bring your own makeup bag, and we’ll work with what’s in it, rather than starting with a professional kit full of products you may never use yourself. Depending on what you’d like to learn, we can look at everyday makeup, getting ready for an occasion, your base, eyes and brows, working with colour, or simply becoming more confident with your techniques.
There’s no pressure to get everything perfect. We can try things, adjust them, take them off and try again.
The aim is to leave you feeling more confident with your own face, your own products and a little more willing to play.
